Kendra Kron
Insite Contracting, Inc. | President and Owner

Kendra Kron is the President and Owner of InSite Contracting, Inc. Her company is a Highway Heavy Contractor based out of Forest Lake, MN, that specializes in Guardrail systems. InSite serves the entire state of Minnesota, is women-owned and operated, and is a DBE/TGB/WBE/SBE certified company. Kendra is an enthusiastic woman working hard to make her mark in the Construction Industry. Throughout her life she has strived to achieve many leadership positions where management, organization, and problem solving were key. She has strong set of communication skills, which enables her to interact and engage effectively with a variety of people. Her experiences have promoted self-confidence, and with an unwavering work ethic, she possesses everything it takes to be a successful business owner. Serving in leadership roles continues to be a passion for Kendra. She is self-starter, a quick learner, and excels in fast-paced environments, making it fun for her to take on new projects. She currently serves as the Vice President on the Board of Directors for the Association of Women Contractors, or AWC. Additionally, she is on the Special Events Committee and a Crew Lead for the Build Up Crews program recently launched by the AWC. Kendra is now also serving on the Board of Directors for the Associated General Contractors of Minnesota, or AGC, in a Highway Heavy Representative capacity. She has worked closely with the AGC for the last few years and has been a part of Leadership Blueprint Council, serving as the Vice Chair on that council for the second year in a row. Kendra is very happily married to her husband Korey, and they have two adorable children. In her downtime she enjoys playing card games, spending time with family, and outdoor activities like camping, fishing, boating, and playing sports. She is also a HUGE movie buff and tries her best to speak primarily in movie quotes…it is super entertaining… well, for Kendra, anyway! Mentorship for other female business owners is at the top of the list for Kendra’s future. She is completely floored by the support she has felt in this industry from her fellow woman-owned businesses, and she can’t wait to pay it forward and be a part of what the future holds for Women in Construction!
